About the Lillie Art Gallery
For more than 60 years, the Lillie Art Gallery in Milngavie has been a popular destination for local residents, visitors and artists.
It owes its existence to local banker and artist Robert Lillie (1867-1949), who left a substantial number of his own artworks as well as funds to build the gallery. As well as hosting exhibitions throughout the year, the Lillie also showcases works contained in its collection – including paintings, prints, drawings, sculpture and ceramics.
